I followed with all the ships in my Command

Spartan Games  was at Salute this weekend and had a great video showing off their presence there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgVnKpjZ8iI&feature=youtu.be The HALO fleet game keeps looking better and better.  From what I hear its a mixture of Firestorm Armada and what looks a little like X-Wing.  It is also supposed to play faster than FSA which is a welcome change too.  The miniatures look incredible painted up, can't wait to find out more about this. Planetfall is in this video too and you can get a good idea of the scale of some of the minis there.  It was fairly off my radar until recently too.  I thought the scale was closer to Dystopian Wars and was pleasantly surprised to see some infantry stands when some locals were playing it.

It fled as we set Fire to their world

Huh.  I wasn't expecting a fleet battle game as the first thing out of the gate for Spartan Games.  The two sides were just so asymmetrically matched in space.  From what I remember it the UNSC needed a 5:1 ratio to really win space battles against the Covenant.  Now this could be set post-War were there is more of a balance to things but that is unlikely with them showing Marathon class ships. What could be neat is if that asymmetrical nature is captured somehow in scenario play, or scenario play with the Covenant trying to glass human planets. From the sounds of it, the ground battle games are going to be 15mm as well.  Its a scale I really like  for sci-fi games but I wanted a 28mm Master Chief to paint.

They called it the Pillar of Autumn
